A year has passed since the infamous Boswell curse. The city of Greenwood all but buried any proof that it actually occurred. It is Halloween season, 1996, a time that brings joy and pranks by the dozen. But this season—it will bring something much darker than little kids running around in scary masks playing tricks and taking treats.
Greenwood will be faced with another egregious attack, but this time from malicious visitors from another world. Knowing that those unworldly visitors are not abducting Greenwood citizens by coincidence alone, a power-hungry FBI Special Agent in Charge sends his psychotic agent and his ethical rookie partner to silence those who know too much, and to keep the real story from going global…a story that would be catastrophic for not only the FBI, but for the entire country.
Jasmine, the tomboy whose heart is torn in half due to her high school crush having feelings for her best friend, isolates herself from both of them, heeding the advice from the very man who was sent to kill her—FBI agent Mason Arlovski.
The eccentric people of Greenwood will unknowingly rely on their favorite uncanny teens: Jasmine, Rose, Nathan, Jewel, and Rico to save them from violent abductions from beings with no earthly origins, but they will face a grim realization: one of them—will be taken.
It's Ella's senior year of high school and she and her best friend Linds plan to make it the best year ever. At Brock Cochran's end of summer pool party, the girls vow to have as much fun as possible before they head off to different colleges next fall. But when Ella is mysteriously attacked on her way home from the party, everything changes. Ella's carefree senior year plans disintegrate as she finds herself at the center of an attempted murder investigation.
Ella tries to move on, but her attacker isn't done yet. He shows himself in the form of horrifying signs and symbols: a clown mask strewn on her bed, a dead bird in her backpack, a shadow moving past her window in the night. And as the weeks pass, it turns out that Ella isn't the only one being tormented.
With the help of an old flame, Jensen Carver, and her friends and family, Ella tries to attain some sense of normalcy, but she can't seem to shake the feeling that there's a dark pattern hidden in the killer's every move. Suddenly, even those in her innermost circle seem suspicious. In her seemingly safe West Virginia town, Ella starts to wonder who she can trust. Continue Reading

So I decided to share what the process is like because I think it's something that a lot of people would like to know.
First of all, the imprint that I signed with is very small which I kind of like. It's like self-publishing with lots of help. I was too afraid to self-publish because I don't have the social media reach to promote myself the way a publisher can. So when I heard about this imprint I jumped at the opportunity to work with them. Sure, it's more expensive for me because I have to pay for things that I probably wouldn't with a traditional publisher. Like an editor, cover artist, the ISBN number and more. But like the saying goes you have to spend money to make money. Continue Reading
