https://literarybookgifts.com/ reached out to me to review their shirts for my website. I was really excited about this opportunity because I've never been asked to review anything other than books, stories, poems and so on and so on.
But he’s not dead.
Every minute lost is another minute closer to his last breath.
We must find him.
I’ve always been an outcast, bullied my whole life. Yet, all I’ve ever wanted to do is to help people. But people are cruel. Unforgiving. Instead of being accepting and seeing the beauty in our differences, some feel threatened. Frightful of the unknown. They want to separate themselves from what they can’t understand. Even if it means kidnapping a young child. With the help of Max’s father and a friend, we are on a hunt to find Max before it’s too late.
I was worried we would never find him. I never thought I would be the one hurt when we did. It’s not easy, and most days, I want to give up. But through a special connection, a deep-rooted friendship, and a blossoming love, I learn who I am and what I’m capable of accomplishing. Continue Reading

I won't be very active for the weeks to come, not until May. Because I'm going on vacation! Finally a vacation for Ashley that is more than needed. A little fresh air and sunshine and beach water, yes please. So that means that I will not be answering any emails until May so please be patient. I reviewed all the books that I promised I would in April so I won't be behind schedule because of this trip.
I have some posts scheduled to post while I'm gone so my site won't be completely empty during those days. I'm mainly just giving authors that email me a heads up that it might be a while before I get back to you. Sorry for the inconvenience but this vacation is important to me.
Happy reading everyone! Continue Reading

Lately I've been trying to push myself out of my comfort zone more and more. I'm only twenty-four soon to be twenty-five, I shouldn't be so scared to do so many things. I am now on anxiety medicine and I'm not ashamed of that, it's something that I have dealt with for awhile without the proper help. I finally admitted that I couldn't do it alone anymore and spoke with my doctor. She told me that once it got in my system that I would find myself less afraid to do things that would normally have me in a puddle on the floor from fear. Continue Reading
Hello all you beautiful people out there. I feel like every time I come on here to blog about my thoughts it's to apologize for being M.I.A. and that's what I'm doing here again.
I was away from my house for two whole weeks visiting family while my husband was on a business trip. While I did read while I was there the internet was horrible so I wasn't able to blog or review while I was there. I also didn't get to read nearly as much as I wanted to but that's oaky ... I guess. Anyway I'm back at my lovely house that I never want to leave ever again and also back to working.
Yesterday I spent all day writing my book since I couldn't do that either while I was away. Today I will probably transcribe some videos for my actual job and then hopefully I can get back to reviewing soon. I think I have decided to kind of slow down on reviewing, not because I'm unhappy but because I really want to finish the first draft of my book this year. It's a little difficult to get into writing mode when I can't stop thinking about the monster of a TBR pile I have and how many I need to review this month or the next month. It becomes too daunting and almost makes me want throw in the towel completely but I don't. Mostly because I know that I will need reviewers once my book is complete and I just hope other reviewers are as understanding as I am. Being honest is important in reviewing but you don't have to be a total dick about it. True Story.
