Tired of his dad’s abuse and his teacher’s mistreatment, Shane Smith takes a walk inside of a forest. Little does he know the forest contains mysteries that will forever change things for him. Will he be ready to face the sudden shift in his world?
A solid sequel to The Gold but I liked the first book better. I just liked watching Amanda grow and mature. I like seeing Shane change too but I connected more with Amanda. It's still a good book/series that can teach children and adults a lot.
This one was very interesting when Shane had issues getting back into the forest and he realized he needed Amanda's help. It showed growth and it was needed.
